DiGi Broadband update

This is just an update for my previous post about DiGi Broadband where I complaint about getting EDGE signal all the time instead of HSDPA. Well the guy in charge read the blog and gave this trick:

1. Disconnect your DiGi broadband access.

2. Look for Tools > Options > Network. At the Network type tab, choose WCDMA only and Apply.

3. Connect back.

This will set the modem to accept only HSDPA signal and not EDGE. I think this setting applies to all 3G providers, as I did the same thing with Maxis GPRS.

PS: Eh why did he read my blog? Ok that’s 1 vote for DiGi customer service :P

PPS: BTW to the winners, we received RM108 package with 10gb usage quota. Fuhh I already past the 3gb limit…
