Quite a busy week, had few quizzes as always, plus we need to complete two assighments before final exam starts. We’re done with Malaysian Studies video presentation, a bit sedey coz other groups did it very well and got me lol-ing hard. Aii..
For Statics group project we were asked to build a tower-like structure that can support a kilogram of load by using ice cream sticks. The trick to win (IMO assighments are competition, not simply a do-and-pass-up work) is to have the most unique structure using the least sticks one can build. That’s pretty much of it I think. Basic dimensions are given though, so we are still restricted to a typical tower look.
To force our team members to buy and collect ice cream sticks until we get enough is impossible so we just use the clinic tongue depressors. RM8 per box is quite okay compared to RM1 per paddle pop rainbow. Give me some bucks and I would love to get enough paddle pop sticks for everyone.
