I registered for Malaysian Studies subject this sem and like Bahasa Melayu Korporat (BMK) last time, we were given an assighment (yes.. with h) to make a documentary presentation about anything related to Malaysia in general. Err ima put it as documentary la senang.
After some discussion session, the group has agreed to produce a video presentation about Adat Perkahwinan Orang Melayu (traditional Malay marriage ceremony). The main play haven’t been decided yet but I think it’s either merisik or bertunang (engagement). I am more into merisik because me myself as a Malay, know nothing about it except the fact that the ceremony is for the guy to seek confirmation whether his soon-to-be-fiancĂ© is available or not. But then takut the video will be too short so egal la which one pun.
At first I kinda hate it. If you follow my blog you’ll notice entries about BMK video presentation and how I cursed a lot in here. But think again, it’s a whole new group, and I have more trust and experience with them so why not give it a chance. After all they are my close friends here. Hopefully no more bloody fight like last time eh.
OH! A blogger friend of mine will be the luckiest one to be proposed hakhak.. I’m so excited into this one actually :D
Submission of ideas will carry out next Tuesday and I need to cover my bertunang part hopefully by this weekend. Hoho gonna be busy editing videos again. This time, let the one with firm hands hold the camcorder dammit!
Hm talking about video, enjoy this…
Enlightening kan? Same goes to the video published earlier entitled House. It’s not that we can’t think of ourselves. It’s to educate and at the same time to make clear of what been misunderstood by people. I don’t mind some insinuation.
More videos here…
